Pillars of West Alabama - 2007
As Recognized by the Community Foundation of West Alabama

Webster’s Dictionary defines “pillar” as a firm upright support for a superstructure, one that is a mainstay and a chief supporter.  With that definition in mind, the idea of recognizing Pillars of West Alabama was born in the spring of 2005.  This annual program offers the opportunity to recognize dedicated individuals who have made commitments to enhance the lives and the quality of life of the West Alabama citizens.  The CFWA believes this commitment is a very noble and honorable way to spend one’s life.  We proudly recognize this year’s group of Pillars of West Alabama.
