Creating A Fund


One of the primary goals of the Community Foundation of West Alabama is to make supporting the community through giving as easy and as effective as possible.  Before creating a fund, we recommend that you consult with your professional advisor and decide what type of fund you would like to create and through what financial vehicle you would like to give.  Any of the staff or board members of the Community Foundation will be happy to discuss these options with you. 

Once you have decided on how you would like to give, setting up a fund requires that you complete a basic agreement available on the website or through our office.  The following agreements are available to be downloaded: Community or Unrestricted Fund Agreement Field of Interest Fund Agreement Designated Fund Agreement Designated Agency Endowment Fund Agreement Legacy Society Statement of Intent Please contact us concerning any questions you might have about creating a fund.
