People throughout the United States are more and more turning to their community foundations to help them make the best use of their philanthropic dollars.  You can make a gift to the Community Foundation of West Alabama at any time and in any amount. 
Donations of $10,000 or less will be part of our Community Fund or unrestricted fund which is used for pressing needs within West Alabama. 

With a gift of $10,000 or more, you can create a fund that will support specific charities or a broad area in which you would like to make an impact.  Many types of funds are available through the Community Foundation.  Our services can help you assess opportunities to give, learn more about areas of need or specific organizations or explore ways that charitable giving can be part of your financial and estate plans.
